How can a Winter Cleansing-Diet-Direction help reboot your body and improve the quality of your life? Wise Way Nutrition offered a four-part class series at Elevate Wellness Center in South Lake Tahoe, designed to guide participants through a nourishing winter cleanse with education, community support, and practical tools.
The series covered the foundations of a food-based cleanse: understanding where toxic burden comes from, how to support the liver's two-phase detoxification process, the principles of an elimination diet, and how to build a Functional Food Culture that sustains health long after the cleanse ends.
Each class included educational presentations, recipe demonstrations, and Q&A sessions. Participants received a comprehensive meal plan, shopping guides, and educational handouts to support them through the process.
Four-Part Class Series Topics
- Class 1: Understanding Toxic Burden — Where it comes from and how it affects your health
- Class 2: The Elimination Diet — Foods to remove and nourishing alternatives
- Class 3: Digestion and Absorption — Food combining, stages of digestion, and soaking grains
- Class 4: Building Your Functional Food Culture — Sustaining healthy habits beyond the cleanse
